- "Helen McNulty is a Fermanagh born Irish artist whose works come from a place deep in the imagination. The paintings express inner thoughts and emotions tied to specific happenings in both her own life and in topical worldwide issues which grab her attention. The work has a surreal quality as nothing she paints comes from mere copying of landscape or subject, but by insightful watching and relaying the most beautiful and harsh realities there are. She has been described by many who view her work as a visionary, as she not only is a painter but a writer and poet of highly emotional magnitude. At only 25, she has exhibited widely in the UK and on the web, has performed her live art video pieces at numerous festivals and has been an active advocate and marketeer for all arts related activity. Her work continues to grow in its expression, as she has recently moved back to Fermanagh, her home place, to draw inspiration from the natural beauty of the lakes in a place deep rooted in ancient wisdom and mythology.
